Sixteen years ago, Republicans were pro-war and were calling John Kerry a flip flopper for saying he voted against the war before he voted for it (or something like that). Now, after an even bigger flip flop, Republicans are suddenly against overseas intervention of any kind and the Iraq war is a huge mistake. And then there was the rise of the anti-deficit tea party, and the Republican party was the party of fiscal responsibility. And then Trump came and the deficit suddenly didn't matter. So please don't talk about consistency and "ever again." My head spins when I think about how the anti-deficit, pro-war party has "evolved" since Trump's rise.
I actually swore never to vote for a candidate who voted in favor of the Iraq war. I did not break that promise. I am in China and could not vote. But I would have broken that promise if I had been in the U.S. Trump is wanna be tyrant. He doesn't want to use troops in Iraq, but he wants to use them against U.S. citizens. I never would have voted for Biden under any other circumstance. He is uninspiring, and I won't be surprised if he is corrupt. But Trump is in my eyes is an absolute dumpster fire. Corrupt

Notice that it didn't seem to matter to voters. Where is the winning margin for the first truly anti-war presidency since.... I honestly don't know.
