What would the US know about election interference?
The US has always been a bastion of democracy. Cuba, Iran, Ukraine, Bolivia, Belarus, Venezuela, The USA has proven it's loyalty to the highest standards of electoral impartiality over the years. The idea that they might eventually rig their own election doesn't even deserve consideration. By the way, congratulations for the exceptionally high voter turnout in certain key states, it is a credit to your democracy!
Yeah, that seems to be what their argument and "evidence" boils down to. It is fascinating how far people can be disconnected to reality. The real problem is that while trump is likely gone (Hopefully to prison. I wonder whether he will have a Secret Service detail in there?), the ones that voted for him will remain. And they are worse than Trump ever could have been.
Trump fans are a specific ethnic or race? News to me. Maybe you should look up what "ethnic" and "race" means?
Also you mistake my stance. If I were to "hate" Trump fans, I would still give them some level or respect. I do not. I just quietly and non-emotionally classify them as "useful idiots". That makes them dangerous to society, sure.
Trump voters have branded themselves as supporters of abuse of a broad variety of kinds which need not be enumerated here. They cry about how leftists are dividing the nation while they support the unsupportable.
It's not clear what can be done to reconcile with people who willfully support fascism, and also willfully remain ignorant in order to justify supporting the orange menace.
The real problem is that while trump is likely gone (Hopefully to prison....), the ones that voted for him will remain. And they are worse than Trump ever could have been.
And it's because of comments like that, that the left will never be trusted when they get their hands on the levers of power.
How could someone, in the roughly half the country who voted for Trump, trust someone, who is willing to say such things, to use power in any way except to hurt them?
Congratulations on your own, personal, "Irredeemable Deplorables" moment
That you see "genocide" as a possible solution here says a ton about _you_. Obviously genocide is never a solution to anybody decent and educated.
No. Trump fans need to find their connection to reality again and they need to remember that they have to find some level of respect for the people they share a country with, even if they do not vote Trump. That is the only solution. Either get there or things will go to hell.
Don't want to be called "deplorable?" Try being less deplorable, see how that goes for you.
Nah. Can't happen. "Irredeemable", you know. B-)
Besides: I could really care less what pejoratives some lock-stepping leftist throws at me, or how often he and his throw them, to try to mold me into his group's groupthink - or shut me up. These smears just let me know what threats they represent when they're in a position to do more than throw words.

This nicely demonstrates why _you_ are part of the problem. You do not even want a solution. You just want to see "the others" as the worst scum the earth has to offer. Ever though where this will ultimately lead? Hers is a hint from history: A civil war is a sure way to completely ruin a country for _everybody_.
Look, the bottom line is: I don't care who you are, or what you do, or how smart, responsible, and moral you may be in every other aspect of your life - voting Trump for President is a inherently irrational act. You cannot defend it rationally or logically. It is so irrational, irresponsible and fucked up that you need to be hospitalized and kept miles away from polling places. If a GOP had to occupy the White House, I would have grudgingly accepted almost any other candidate that ran in 2016. They couldn't
It's also stupid. How could those people be worse than Trump? He has more money and power, and therefore he can do more damage. Peons and plebes steal cars and stereos, the elite (Trump may not be elite in any way other than influence, but he does have that going for him) steal billions and elections. Let's hope his attempt to go through the supremes backfires quickly.
And it's because of comments like that, that the left will never be trusted when they get their hands on the levers of power.
If you hold Democratic politicians responsible for statements made by gwehir, is it fair to hold Donald Trump responsible for statements made by David Duke?
If you hold Democratic politicians responsible for statements made by gwehir,...
