A Congressman and an Astronaut Propose a New Plan

  • I am still stunned that our president and congress put us into a position where we have to pay for rides to the ISS for a zillion dollars a seat, with no other alternative. We've had 30 years to design the next big thing. What happened?

I'm stunned that Americans complain about finally being able to send their astronauts to the ISS for a basement bargain price of a mere $55mio, instead of being forced to pay $210mio for each astronaut sent to space using the Shuttle (which cost $1500mio per launch) - with only 3 out of the 7 (whom you paid for) getting to spend some quality time in space on board of the ISS.

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.
