Attila Dimedici writes "In 2005 the UN said that by 2010 there would be 50 million climate refuges. They even provided a map of where they would come from. However since that original story was posted the UN has taken down that page. They apparently don't know about Google cache."

You know how when scientists create a graph of multiple data points and then try extrapolating to draw a line into the future? Well that line to 2010 wasn't as steep as they expected once they added in the 2006, 2007, and 2008 data, so they had to redraw the curve. They now predict it's going to happen in 2020 instead based on the current slope of the graph
